One of the classic Portuguese traditional sausages. Based on Monte de Lameira pork steak, this sausage is prepared and hand-tied in the traditional Beira manner and cured in wood smoke in the way that is so typical of our region.
The natural seasonings, blood and cumin, give a warm flavor.
Often called “chouriço das favas” (sausage for beans) Chouriço Mouro makes an ideal addition to stews, as well as being delicious simply roasted.
Ingredients: Monte Da Lameira Pork Steak, White Wine, Water, Blood, Salt, Soya, Pepper Paste, Cumin, Garlic And Natural Casing (Pork).
